Fernlea was
the name given to the farm of our ancestors when they lived near Shepparton
over 100 years ago.
Over the years, the name has been passed down through the family until it
arrived with us. And now we have taken the name to live on in the future,
with our handmade bears.
We have been making our bears for about 14 years and have loved every one of
them.
Now we have changed direction and have
started patchwork and quilting.
It's very satisfying to make something by hand and have someone one else
appreciate it as much as we do. It's also very rewarding to make ’ doodles' a
reality in a quilt or project.
